I Walk 10,000 Steps Daily in NYC—These Adidas Sneakers Meet My Comfort and Style Requirements
With an ideal forecast and the perfect pair of shoes, I feel invincible in NYC. I can easily travel from uptown to downtown and then over to Brooklyn (great for my step count—harmful for my bank account) as long as I'm comfortable in my outfit, which largely depends on my shoe choice. Recently, I’ve been really into adidas because of the brand's playful color options and lightweight styles. I own a pair of pink Tokyo shoes that add a bit of flair to my usual weekend look of jeans and a t-shirt. The Tokyo shoes, Samba OG shoes, and Japan shoes are my top three adidas picks to keep you both comfortable and fashionable, regardless of how many steps you take each day.
Tokyo Shoes
If you’re in search of a shoe that feels incredibly light, this should be your first choice. From a functional standpoint, I appreciate the weightlessness. From a style perspective, I adore the retro look and variety of colors.

Samba OG Shoes
These are the original for a reason. They have a bit more heft and added arch support, making them even more comfortable than the Tokyo shoes. I really like these two new styles with two-tone laces.
Japan Shoes
Here’s another retro, Japanese-inspired style to complete my favorite list. They have a look that’s reminiscent of the '70s but are available in contemporary colors. The burgundy and leopard print are my current favorites from this selection.
