The new fall assortment from Stitch Fix was created with these daily realities in mind, eliminating the uncertainty from morning outfit choices."       What inspired the collaboration between Stitch Fix and Favorite Daughter?

      Every August, moms concentrate on one priority: preparing their children for the new school year. In the midst of drop-off lines, household responsibilities, and the dedicated teachers who support our kids daily, we wanted to honor the individuals who make this hectic time of year manageable. That's how Drop Off Club and Favorite Teacher were conceived. This makes it possible for women juggling numerous tasks before 8 a.m. to still feel like themselves.

      The collection features graphic T-shirts and half-zips. How did you choose those staples as the focus?

      We aimed for items that can be quickly thrown on when you're rushing out the door. After already making countless decisions before breakfast, a great graphic tee and a half-zip serve as dependable staples that women can turn to repeatedly.

      Through this collaboration, you're encouraging moms to view style as a small yet significant act of self-care. Why was this important to you?

      For moms, getting dressed can often feel like an afterthought. While I don't believe that a great outfit resolves everything, it certainly contributes. Wearing something that boosts your confidence changes how you approach the rest of your day. Stitch Fix streamlines that self-care moment; their stylists handle the hard work, helping to create a wardrobe that truly supports real life.

      How has motherhood affected your personal style and how you approach dressing?

      It has forced me to simplify everything. I still want to appear chic and feel like myself, but I lack the time to spend hours selecting what to wear. I’ve become more focused on versatile pieces that suit my actual lifestyle. If an outfit can transition from school drop-off to meetings to errands seamlessly, that’s what I seek.

      What’s your go-to outfit for school drop-off?

      A great pair of jeans, a tee or half-zip, comfortable sneakers, sunglasses, and coffee in hand. The aim is not to appear flawless but to look like you’ve had five more hours of sleep than you did.

      What are your suggestions for building a capsule wardrobe that transitions well from drop-off through the day?

      Honestly, start with elevated basics—quality denim, comfortable tees, a half-zip or sweater, versatile sneakers, and a few accessories to tie it together. As I get older, I’m less inclined to second-guess outfits while standing in my closet, as I don’t have the time for that. I appreciate having someone else curate pieces that genuinely suit my life, which is precisely why Stitch Fix is so effective.

      Do you have a trend prediction for fall 2026 or a current trend you’re excited about?

      I'm really into silk sets at the moment. They not only elevate an outfit but also provide an effortlessly polished look without much effort. You simply put it on and you're set to go.

      Is there a shoe trend you’re looking forward to wearing?

      I’m currently a fan of elevated flip-flops, especially our Cameron Sandal. They're stylish, comfortable, and easy to slip on just before heading out.
