      **How has your life evolved as you transition into this new chapter?**

      My life has transformed significantly each year in a positive way. I firmly believe that everything has improved with time and experience. I’m learning more about who I am, which has boosted my confidence. Understanding my strengths and weaknesses has greatly benefited me in business. The more you know yourself, the more effective you become as an entrepreneur. Many changes have occurred; I’m now in a new home, my Dairy Boy office has expanded, and I’ve opened a store in Nantucket while also working on future locations. I anticipate that every year will bring exciting developments and inspiration for change.

      **As a founder, creative director, and content creator, which role excites you the most right now?**

      I’m passionate about all aspects of my business, but the experience of launching physical stores has been incredibly fulfilling and significant for me. Spending so much of my life online as a creator often creates a disconnect from tangible experiences. Becoming a founder and opening brick-and-mortar locations is the role I’m most proud of at this moment.

      **When you started Dairy Boy, what market gap were you aiming to address?**

      I sought out items that feel distinctly American yet are affordable and special. We pay close attention to small details like unique hangtags, embroidery, and little buttons. Typically, when such special touches are included, prices tend to rise, which is understandable. However, I felt there wasn't an accessible brand offering this type of style affordably. I believe we’ve truly achieved that, and I want to continue promoting high-quality, thoughtfully designed goods that remain affordable.

      **What has surprised you the most about building the brand so far?**

      There have been many surprises. Being a visible brand founder has been intriguing and at times shocking. I was aware of the social media landscape, but the associated challenges—often involving hypocrisy and double standards—can be enlightening, yet they haven’t discouraged me.

      **As a founder, what do you wish you had known from the beginning?**

      The fashion industry can be very exclusive. It took me years to figure out how to establish a design team. Hiring recruiters to help build my team was essential for my growth. Since I didn’t study design, I wish I had been better informed about fashion industry mechanics. I've learned a great deal, and perhaps it's a blessing that I had to navigate this landscape solo. I had no pre-existing connections, which has allowed me to forge my own path and connections. It would have been helpful to have someone in my circle knowledgeable about factories and the production process. It took time to learn, but I am grateful for where we are now.

      **What do you think resonates with people about Dairy Boy?**

      It has grown beyond mere apparel; it’s now a lifestyle. Primarily, the feeling of nostalgia drives me. Nostalgia is a powerful emotion, and I strive to tap into that essence. The brand encourages people to slow down, and I think individuals can relate to the sense of peace and simplicity it offers—whether they’re in the city or the suburbs.
