Last month, I had the chance to see Cardi B in person at the Robert Wun Haute Couture show in Paris, where she sported a striking mermaid gown in a vivid fire-engine red. However, her latest appearance in New York City last night was much more laid-back, yet she still captured everyone's attention. Not everyone can turn heads as effortlessly in denim capri pants as they can in an architectural ball gown, but in my opinion, Cardi B could make "money moves" in a burlap sack!
Last night, she layered two Old Navy sweaters, combining a blue unbuttoned cardigan with a buttoned-up yellow one. How adorable is that? This clever styling tip costs nothing if you use cardigans you already have, but Cardi B’s exact pieces are priced at $30 each. At The Ripple Room, Cardi B and her cardigans joined Wisdom Kaye, Ego Nwodim, Kate Mara, Mary Beth Barone, and Chief Creative Officer Zac Posen to celebrate the launch of the brand's new fall denim campaign. And how stylish was Cardi's green Chanel bag? Very stylish indeed!
