Chase Stokes Gives Us an Inside Look at His Outer Banks Farewell Press Tour.

      (Image credit: Maggie Nutley) Last week, the cast of Outer Banks, Netflix's breakout hit during the pandemic, said farewell to the show that transformed their lives. Starting as wide-eyed newcomers, the ensemble, featuring Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, and Jonathan Daviss, quickly captured the hearts of devoted fans (#P4L!) throughout five seasons of thrilling treasure hunting.

      For Stokes, this moment is bittersweet. While he won't miss the exhausting shoot days, swarms of mosquitoes, or the muggy weather, he will always cherish the community formed among the cast and crew, their close-knit relationships, and the supportive fans who followed their journey. He reflects on his time on Outer Banks as "a gauntlet of film education," providing a top-tier master class in acting and filmmaking. "It's incredibly rewarding to know I'm leaving this show with more knowledge than I ever expected," he shares with Who What Wear.

      In portraying John B, the optimistic leader of the Pogues, Stokes developed a deep admiration for his character’s unwavering hopefulness. "Life always has its ups and downs, but he never stops dreaming. He never stops pushing ahead. So I hope to carry that spirit in my own life," he notes.

      For its fifth and final (and record-setting!) season, the group embarked on a farewell press tour for their fans. As he said his last goodbye to the show that initiated it all, Stokes took us along on the adventure.
