Yet, here we are. Although the name may seem odd, it’s worth understanding. This type of cream is formulated to target specific skin cells that may be causing damage without your knowledge. I've been a fan of their products for years due to their excellent formulations that work well with my extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin. Below, I’ll outline everything you need to know about this cream, along with my candid opinions and who it would benefit the most.

According to Yoon, "Zombie cells are scientifically known as senescent cells—damaged cells that remain in the skin and can be detrimental." They can emit inflammatory signals and are associated with issues such as wrinkles, sagging, and dullness, potentially transforming healthy cells into zombie cells. What sets Peach & Lily's Rebound Bioglow Cream apart is that it isn’t based on a single superstar ingredient; instead, it is thoughtfully designed as a cohesive system that addresses zombie cell damage from multiple perspectives.       To begin with, I want to mention that I was already a big fan of Peach & Lily before trying this cream. I have a lot of confidence in Yoon and her products because they are clean and thoughtfully made for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Every product in Peach & Lily's range is meant to be effective, noncomedogenic, and glow-enhancing—exactly what I look for!

      I also admit that I've been somewhat skeptical about the entire zombie cell discussion in the beauty realm. After all, shouldn't a good retinoid be enough to address the problem of damaged, older cells? While I'm by no means a scientist, I've dealt with some skin damage over the years after a rough five-year experience with tretinoin, so I thought I would try this cream to see if it could help.

      Upon trying the cream, my first impression was that it is indeed thicker than a standard moisturizer, but it does provide a lovely glow. This is something to consider if you have highly acne-prone skin. Although I've never experienced breakouts from Peach & Lily products, I did find that this thicker moisturizer might be better suited for colder months. Nevertheless, after just a few days of use, I noticed a significant overall radiance to my skin that wasn’t present before. I should mention that I'm 33 and don't have severe sagging or wrinkles, so I can't speak much to its effects in those areas.

      While I appreciated the overall glow after using it for a month, I can’t definitively say that my skin issues were related to zombie cells. I didn’t observe a drastic difference in my skin overall or in my skin barrier health (my primary concern) after using it for a little over a month. However, I believe this cream would be excellent for mature skin types or those showing signs of premature aging. It's rich and might yield more noticeable results in deeper wrinkles for those individuals. Overall, this is a fantastic cream and reasonably priced for an innovative targeted treatment moisturizer. Additionally, many skincare products often take longer than a month to deliver visible results, which is another point to consider. I genuinely like this cream and will continue using it, though it may require some patience
