Luckily, my desire for a wardrobe refresh coincided perfectly with the arrival of spring collections from my favorite brands.

      While I don’t always feel the need to completely revamp my wardrobe with each new season—preferring to invest in fewer, versatile pieces that can serve me year-round—the light linens and spring staples I've relied on in recent years are starting to feel a bit stale. Determined to enhance my options for the new season, I turned to a brand that shares my appreciation for sleek designs, everyday luxury, and high-quality materials: COS.

      I have often looked to COS for timeless classics like white tees and leather bags, but I hadn’t spent much time exploring their broader collections before. A quick glance at their new arrivals revealed my previous oversight. Filled with well-tailored separates and lovely spring colors that I’m eager to incorporate into my outfits, I was quickly attracted to several standout pieces.

      Visiting the store to truly assess the quality and fit of the collection, I picked out flowy dresses, lightweight layers, and a few simple staples, leading to a surprisingly relaxed try-on experience. For reference, I’m 5'7", wear a UK size 10, and prefer uncomplicated, elegant pieces that can blend effortlessly into my wardrobe—making COS the perfect place for my seasonal refresh.       My Review: My main objective for this try-on? To find the ideal easygoing dress, and this chocolate-colored piece took the lead before I could consider anything else. Made from heavyweight linen, it strikes the perfect balance: light enough to keep me cool on hot summer days but substantial enough to hang beautifully and maintain a polished, luxurious finish. Its deep brown hue makes it a seamless choice for the warmer months—more effortless than a brighter color yet just as appropriate for the season. What truly won me over was the silhouette. Flowing yet structured, it offers a chic, voluminous shape without overwhelming my figure. The wide cut allows for graceful movement, creating a lovely swish with every step. And with the essential addition of pockets, what more could I ask?

      It falls just above my ankles, making it a true maxi dress on me. If you're shorter, you might want to consider having it hemmed, while taller individuals may find it falls closer to a midi length. I styled it with simple black flats and a small clutch bag, but I can easily see it transitioning into evening wear with strappy sandals or paired with suede boots as we navigate the cooler weeks of early spring.

First up were the high-waisted jeans that grabbed my attention. With a straight-leg style, rib-grazing rise, soft light-blue wash, and thick denim, they feel as premium as some designer pairs in my closet. I opted for a size 27, which fit comfortably with slightly extra room at the waist, which I always prefer with high-waisted jeans. If you share this preference, I recommend sticking to your usual size, but if you prefer a more tailored fit, you might consider going down a size.

      Next, I tried the perfect white tee. While I’ve long adored COS’s Clean Cut T-shirt, I had yet to experiment with their long-sleeved options. This one has a slightly sheer finish, which I didn’t mind; it was incredibly soft and perfect for layering under a sweater—exactly what I seek in a tee like this. Then came the trench coat.
