My friend mentioned that my skin appeared "poreless" after I incorporated this brand into my skincare regimen.
If there's one skincare brand that has taken over my TikTok For You Page recently, it's definitely Medicube. I can't browse online without coming across creators praising this Korean skincare line. With Medicube now more readily available in the UK (thanks to Boots), I thought it was the perfect opportunity to test out some of the trending products for myself. I have to admit, I was quite doubtful. I usually approach any TikTok-viral beauty items, or new beauty products in general, with considerable skepticism. However, after using several of Medicube's top sellers, I’ve become a fan. Just a week into using the products, I noticed my skin appeared plumper and more radiant. Then, two weeks later, when I met a friend for dinner, they remarked that my skin looked "poreless." While pores are essential for our skin's function, as someone who rarely receives compliments about skin texture, I gladly accepted it. Clearly, these products were effective. Now, I'm uncertain how I'd go back to my previous routine without incorporating some of these Medicube offerings. Curious about which Medicube products are worth trying? Keep reading for my candid opinions and results.
Best Medicube Products
1. Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask
I've been seeing this overnight face mask everywhere on TikTok, with creators applying it and eagerly peeling it off in the morning. As a beauty journalist, I often find peel-off masks to be gimmicky, but I truly was impressed by the glow this mask provided. It's easy to see why it has become a bestseller. It goes on as a thick gel that dries after about 15 minutes. You wear it overnight, allowing the ingredients (niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides) to work their magic, and peel it off in the morning. When I woke up and removed the mask, I was astounded by how soft and luminous my skin appeared, especially where I’ve recently noticed deeper expression lines. I'm keeping this on my bedside table for regular use a few nights a week.
Pros: Leaves skin hydrated, plump, and glowing. Works overnight.
Cons: The mask may peel off on its own overnight in spots, especially for side sleepers.
2. Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0
These exfoliating pads have transformed my skincare routine and are now a staple for me. They arrived at the perfect time when my skin had become congested on my cheeks, and I was dealing with hormonal acne on my chin and jawline. After using these pads, my skin looks clearer, feels smoother, and is less oily throughout the day. Each pre-soaked pad contains exfoliating acids (salicylic acid, fruit-based AHAs) and is infused with hydrating hyaluronic acid, which you can swipe across your face after cleansing. The pads feature two textures: one with exfoliating ridges for gentle exfoliation and a smooth side for hydration. They left my skin looking smoother and more radiant. I typically use them a couple of times a week or when targeting a breakout, but they can be used up to twice daily if your skin tolerates them. For those sensitive to exfoliating acids, the gentler Zero Pore Pad Mild (£24) is available.
Pros: Reduces the appearance of pores, clears blemishes, controls oil and shine.
Cons: Single-use pads aren’t environmentally friendly.
3. Medicube Collagen Glow Booster Serum
This serum booster is part of Medicube's 'Glass Glow' line, and it truly delivers. The lightweight serum has a milky texture that quickly absorbs into the skin, providing hydration and a pearly glow over time. The formula includes PDRN (derived from salmon or trout sperm DNA), niacinamide, peptides, and milk proteins, all of which help to plump and brighten skin. Packaged in a convenient syringe-like tube, it might seem gimmicky, but it’s convenient for travel, and the push-button ensures no product is wasted. After a few weeks of layering this under my serums, I've noticed my skin appearing brighter and more even.
Pros: Enhances skin’s glow, helps plump the skin.
4. Medicube One Day Exosome Shot Pore Ampoule 2000
I was excited to try this product inspired by microneedling treatments; you can truly feel a tingle when applying this serum. It includes exosomes, which act as messengers between skin cells, promoting collagen production, healing, and reducing inflammation. This serum features a mix of AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs, all of which work to rejuvenate the skin. I incorporate this into my evening routine a couple of times a week for that glass-skin glow, and it consistently delivers.
5. Medicube Triple Collagen Toner 4.0
I've always been skeptical of hydrating toners and essences, viewing them as unnecessary. However, this toner has noticeably
