Titled Call Her Alex, the series recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Cooper made a stunning appearance on the red carpet, showcasing a glamorous blowout hairstyle and a beautiful, soft makeup look. With fluttery lashes, a soft petal-pink highlight, and glossy lips, she resembled a champagne angel. The makeup was created by Kelli Anne Sewell, a celebrity makeup artist and founder of the Makeup by Kelli Anne tutorial app. We spoke with her for an exclusive insight into the exact products she used—from luxurious skin preparation to various complexion products and more.       **Celebrity Makeup Artist Kelli Anne Sewell**

      *What inspired this look? Did you and Alex have a certain reference or aesthetic in mind?*

      This look was truly a 360-degree moment. The dress was an exquisite vintage champagne piece, and we aimed for the hair and makeup to convey elegance, polish, ethereal beauty, and glam. For the makeup, I wanted to enhance the bright pearly tone of the dress with the color palette. My goal was for her to appear as if she were floating—supermodel snatched but still effortlessly glamorous.

      *This was a significant moment for Alex since it was her documentary premiere. Did this influence the makeup look and/or how you collaborated on it?*

      I love working with Alex because she usually has a clear vision of what she wants, but she also places great trust in me to create. As an artist, that's the best kind of working relationship, and I deeply appreciate it. While it didn't specifically alter the look, I was thrilled for her moment and wanted to ensure everything was perfect. This job is very meaningful to me, and I was fully present for it. I felt honored to play a small role in her big day. Having worked with Alex before, I believe our collaboration (including Mitchell Ramazon on hair) has an incredible synergy. Our glam sessions are always about enhancing Alex’s features and making her feel hot and confident. My aim is to ensure she feels like her elevated self. Naturally, the makeup had to be flawless since the stakes were high, adding to the excitement.

      *Is there a specific product or technique that you and Alex consistently use when collaborating?*

      We generally gravitate towards cool pink tones for blush. We both adore Kylie Cosmetics’ Winter Kissed to finish the cheeks just before she makes her entrance. When it comes to technique, we always prioritize the skin. It’s about achieving the right balance of glow, coverage, and matte without looking cakey. The key is layering with light applications.       **Skin Prep**

      1. **First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads**

      Sewell emphasizes her "skin forward" makeup style, which makes skin prep crucial for the final outcome. "Skin prep is everything! (This is the top thing I teach in my Makeup by Kelli Anne Longwear Tutorial on my app @makeupbykellianne)," she explains. She started by prepping Cooper’s skin with First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads, formulated with glycolic and lactic acids to exfoliate, smooth, brighten, and tone the skin in preparation for makeup.

      2. **Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream**

      Sewell then applied this ultra-hydrating face cream, highly regarded by editors and makeup artists.

      3. **Inn Beauty Project Extreme Cream Eye Cream**

      Following that, she used this eye cream that works particularly well with makeup.

      4. **First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Rescue Skin Barrier Balm + Mask**

      Finally, this barrier balm was applied to Cooper’s T-zone, leaving her skin perfectly prepared for makeup.
