These hair rollers are so amazing that they've unleashed my inner '90s supermodel alter ego.
As a beauty editor who's tested numerous hair tools, I have become quite particular and have high standards when evaluating them. Whether it’s a hair straightener, hot brush, or hairdryer, these tools often come with a hefty price tag, so I only endorse the best of the best. While I've discovered some ideal curling wands and multi-stylers, hot rollers have yet to win me over completely. Velcro rollers tend to be budget-friendly and fun, but they usually leave my hair somewhat frizzy, and the volume I painstakingly create often disappears within half an hour. Alternatively, many heated roller sets feature rollers that are too small, resulting in my hair looking more like a poodle ready for prom rather than the effortless ‘90s supermodel bounce I desire. When I found T3's Volumizing Hot Rollers (£140), I was optimistic. The rollers in this set are significantly larger than others I've tried, and I hoped for the ‘90s-inspired look I wanted. Continue reading for my review and candid thoughts, along with before and after photos.

**What's Included:**
The kit contains eight rollers (four extra-large and four large), which are substantially larger than most hot roller sets. This is ideal for anyone with shoulder-length or longer hair looking for volume rather than tight curls. The rollers fit onto a surprisingly compact heating base and come in a black vanity case for organized storage. The set also includes handy clips that fit snugly around the rollers, allowing you to carry on with your day without worrying they will fall out. With eight clips provided, there's plenty to keep the rollers secure.
**How to Use the T3 Hair Rollers:**
Once the rollers are heated (indicated by a small circle turning grey at the top—mine were ready in under 10 minutes), you can hold either end while wrapping dry hair around the roller. Although the insulated rims maintain a cool touch, you can still feel the heat while positioning them, so proceed with caution. Don’t forget to use a heat protector first!
I must admit, I'm quite clumsy when it comes to using rollers (I’m sure professional hairstylists would cringe at my technique). I alternated wrapping each section of hair under and over the roller—rolling under the hair provides more lift and volume at the roots, while rolling over gives less volume at the roots but more bounce in the lengths; it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
I placed the larger rollers towards the front to enhance my face-framing layers and used the smaller rollers at the back for tighter curls that would last better in my longer, heavier hair. The clips were very effective in securing the rollers (believe me, they won't budge), and I appreciated the velvety texture of the roller barrels, which gripped my hair well and, unlike Velcro rollers, didn’t pull or frizz my hair during removal.
After letting the rollers sit for about 10-15 minutes, I took them out one by one and was genuinely impressed with the results.

**The Verdict:**
I'm thoroughly impressed with these hair rollers. In approximately 25 minutes, they transformed my hair from flat and dull to bouncy and voluminous. They heated quickly, and although they felt a bit hot while rolling them in (especially near my face), they were easy to secure thanks to the clips. They also left my hair shiny and frizz-free upon removal.
However, if your hair is as long or thick as mine, you may need to purchase additional rollers separately. T3 offers them in packs of two in various sizes, which allows for customization but could add to the expense. The eight
