I'm using the announcement of Taylor Swift's album as an opportunity to buy her two signature fragrances.

This week has been significant for Taylor Swift fans. She A) made an appearance on the Kelce brothers' podcast, New Heights, B) announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and C) unveiled the tracklist, which includes the title song featuring Sabrina Carpenter. It's more updates than we've received in months, or at least since her Eras tour concluded last December, and Instagram is buzzing as a result. While I'm eagerly anticipating new music (her album releases on October 3, so don't forget to mark your calendars), I’m also reflecting on another tidbit I discovered this week — namely, her specific choice of perfume. And, no, neither of them are original scents by Taylor Swift (reminiscing about two of her mid-2000s fragrances: Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted). According to Allure, she wears two designer perfumes. One is a light, sweet, floral scent, while the other is a warm, woody fragrance.

To start, here’s a glimpse of the new album cover. At least in this image, it appears that Swift has replaced her signature matte red lipstick with a glossy berry-pink shade. She complemented the new lip color with rosy blush and smoky brown eye shadow.

First up is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum.

      Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum

      Fragrance family: Floral

Key notes: Vanilla, rose, jasmine, orange blossom

The first fragrance that Swift is said to love is Viktor & Rolf’s well-known Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum. Light, floral, and classically feminine, this scent includes notes of vanilla, rose, jasmine, and orange blossom. It’s like a “garden party” in a bottle, and if I were to link it to a specific album or era, I would say either Speak Now or Lover (IYKYK).

Next is Tom Ford Santal Blush Eau de Parfum.

      Santal Blush Eau de Parfum

      Fragrance family: Woody

Key notes: Cinnamon bark oil, ylang-ylang, Australian sandalwood

We’ve mentioned Swift's other beloved fragrance before: Tom Ford’s Santal Blush Eau de Parfum. This notable scent is warm, sultry, and woody, incorporating notes of cinnamon bark oil, ylang-ylang, and Australian sandalwood. If I were to tie this one to a specific album or era, it would be a three-way tie between Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights. Again, IYKYK.
