Dream Island became the main venue for the City Day celebrations in Moscow's South Administrative Okrug.

      The cultural and entertainment cluster "Dream Island" has become the main venue in Moscow’s Southern Administrative Okrug for the City Day celebration, which will take place on the second weekend of September.

      On September 14, the large-scale festival "City on Seven Hills: From Origins to the Future" will be held in the Southern landscape park "Islands of Dreams", organized jointly with the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative Okrug of Moscow and the State Budgetary Institution of Moscow "OKC SAO".

      The main idea of the event is to create a unique space where every guest can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of modern interactive leisure, get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of the capital, and feel part of a great history.

      Seven hills of Moscow — seven festival zones

      As part of the festival, seven themed hill zones will appear on the park grounds, each reflecting one of Moscow’s historic hills and filled with interactive activities:

      Borovitsky Hill (Makovitsa) — Hill of Wisdom. A symbol of knowledge and history, the city’s main area where the Kremlin is located.

      Chertolsky Hill — Hill of Crafts. A place of creativity and self-expression, symbolizing the winding path to mastery.

      Pskovskaya Gorka — Hill of Arts. A zone of performing arts and cultural exchange.

      Tagansky Hill (Shvivaya Gorka) — Hill of Wonders. A space for shows, celebrations, and folk festivities.

      Ivanovskaya Gorka (Kulishki) — Hill of Knowledge. A zone for technical and developmental workshops.

      Krasny (Strastnoy) Hill — Hill of Strength. A territory for sporting activities and mass events.

      Staro-Vagankovsky Hill — Hill of Amusements. A zone of games and entertainment reflecting ancient traditions and cheerful rituals.

      Each zone will welcome visitors with an infographic containing a historical note about the hill. A chatbot quiz has been created based on it: you will only be able to answer all the questions by visiting all the sites. Participants who successfully complete the quest will have a chance to win commemorative prizes.

      "Dream Island" invites Moscow residents and visitors to celebrate City Day together and join an event that will reveal new facets of cultural leisure. The festival "City on Seven Hills: From Origins to the Future" will unite history and modernity, traditions and innovations, creativity and sport.
