      I have been quoting The Devil Wears Prada for the past 20 years since its release, so I am clearly thrilled about the much-anticipated sequel coming out on May 1. While I am eager to discover what Andy, Miranda, and Emily will be doing on screen, I am just as curious about the outfits the cast will showcase during the promotional tour. As of April 2, we are just four days into the promotional events, but Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway have already sported some stunning looks. Streep's most recent outfit, which featured a "lumpy" blue sweater, is rich in Miranda history. For her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Streep donned a custom J.Crew sweater created in collaboration with her stylist, Micaela Erlanger. “Meryl turned cerulean into a cultural thesis, so expectations were high," said J.Crew Creative Director Olympia Gayot in a statement. "That monologue is incredibly smart and humorous—it serves as a reminder that what seems personal is part of a much larger narrative, which is why The Devil Wears Prada continues to resonate. At J.Crew, we have been passionate about color since 1983, so collaborating with Micaela to work with cerulean—the cerulean—was both an honor and a playful nod. Cashmere felt appropriate: elevated and slightly self-aware. And Meryl makes everything iconic.       On Instagram, Streep's stylist, Micaela Erlanger, gave a glimpse of the custom Olympia Le Tan book clutch created for the press tour. Fope 1929 brooches completed the ensemble.
