      As a fashion editor with a passion for dresses, shopping for them this time of year is one of my most enjoyable activities, whether it's writing about, discussing, or, of course, actually shopping for them. Luckily, I live just around the corner from a local Zara store, and during a recent visit, I decided to check out their dress selection. While online shopping offers a wider variety, I discovered many chic styles in-store and ended up heading to the fitting room with quite a hefty collection. After trying on more than twenty dresses, I brought home three stylish pieces.       1. Lace Maxi Dress

      When I spotted this dress on the hanger, I was instantly captivated by its beauty. It’s the kind of dress that can easily be dressed up for an elegant soirée with the right heels and accessories, or dressed down for casual evening drinks with flip-flops and a raffia bag. The yellow straps and beading provide a delightful contrast against the pastel gray-blue satin. It appears very luxurious and has a vintage feel to it. I might even consider hemming it into a mini dress in the future.

      2. Embroidered Short Dress

      If there’s a dress that truly represents summer, this is it! Embracing the lace-trim trend that’s in vogue this season, this lovely yellow dress adorned with delicate embroidery is ideal for transitioning from day to evening, and its empire waist and asymmetric hem evoke the best of Y2K style.

      I couldn’t take my eyes off the stunning color of this dress when I saw it on the rack, so I had to try it on. The cowl neckline is incredibly elegant yet contemporary, and the satin fabric radiates a luxurious appearance. This is a playful dress perfect for a Euro summer or a night out when you want to be the center of attention!
