I'm a stylist from L.A.—here are the trendy brands available in my wardrobe.

I have certain TikTok accounts I turn to for inspiration. I enjoy exploring new shopping locations featured there, along with the creators who introduce me to them, and a current favorite of mine is Sophia Lintner's. When I first noticed her wearing the Uma Dot heels from Paloma Wool that she purchased at their new Los Angeles location, I was curious to see more. As I browsed through her account, I spotted an Emily Long Dawn dress that I've been wanting. Then I found a video titled "7 niche brands for girls with niche taste," which highlighted labels I admire, including Justine Ménard, Brooke Callahan, Lolo Crochète, Nuovo, Valesque, Shannon Bond, and Hai. In another video where she describes her style, she states, "My go-to outfit formula is always something very simple, but with one unexpected detail to make it fun and funky." Her closet features brands such as Olivia Hurst, Easton Marley, Auralee, Flore Flore, Dôen, Chanel, and Hermès. I chatted with the L.A.-based stylist about some of her favorite items below.

How would you describe your style? I would say my style is adaptable, multifaceted, and entirely fluid. It evolves daily, which used to confuse me, but I have come to appreciate that aspect of myself. I'm not restricted to a single look, aesthetic, or era. My style continuously shifts according to the broader fashion landscape and the specific functional needs my clothing must meet each day. In one of your videos, you mention that “the chicest slop fit is crisp white sweats with loafers,” which I loved you referring to as slop fit. Do you have a favorite pair of pants and loafers for this look? Adding contrast to a simple outfit makes it much more interesting and intentional. I adore the Pêche loafers and have walked countless miles in them; they are, without a doubt, the comfiest loafers I own. For white sweatpants, Naadam offers the softest options with great drape. I appreciate that their sweatpants have a straight-leg cut, making them appear more refined than typical sweats. What items are you excited to wear in fall 2026? Recently, there’s been a subtle revival of 1920s fashion blended with modern silhouettes. Think silk beaded bags and lattice embroidery paired with unconventional elements like denim. If you caught Kallmeyer’s show in February (specifically look 27), you'll see the season's standout—a gold brocade jacket with frog closures that I can't wait to acquire. What about the best ballet flats? I firmly advocate for "buy it nice or buy it twice." I wear my black Chanel flats nearly every day; classics never let you down. What styling philosophies do you adhere to? I believe contrast is crucial for creating visual interest in outfits. It’s the unexpected combinations of pieces that typically wouldn't go together that add charm. For instance, wearing a silk dress often seen as eveningwear with simple flip-flops like Havaianas creates a modern tension between elegance and ease. You’ve shared roundups of “niche brands for girls with good taste” and another of “niche brands everyone in fashion currently notices.” Can you share some? Supporting niche brands is a true passion of mine. Emily Dawn Long is among my all-time favorites. She beautifully balances a boyish aesthetic with a feminine, sexy touch. Sac Décoratif is perfect for anyone searching for a 1920s-style silk evening bag. Each piece is handcrafted using couture methods, limited to three to 20 editions. Easton Marley crafted this summer’s must-have dress, again drawing on 1920s inspiration. Talina, a small brand based in Barcelona, produces striking wood-beaded accessories like hair clips and belts that add a fun touch to simple outfits. If you're interested in incorporating jacquards into your wardrobe but don't want to fully commit to a coat or jacket, a bag is a great starting point. The Moritz Pouch from One Of, a bespoke designer in NYC that makes everything to order, is on my wish list. Finally, I am THRILLED about Herbert Levine's comeback; their blend of cinematic allure and surrealism is quite rare these days. When you want to enhance a simple outfit, what do you typically choose? For me, style is about having fun. On days when my best idea is a white T-shirt and jeans, I opt for visually interesting shoes, an embroidered bag, chunky jewelry, or maybe a combination of all three. I’d love to know how you started your styling career. Fashion has always been my passion. Since I was six, I would sketch clothing designs in a Barbie sketchbook, which my grandmother would make real. While studying at FIDM in Los Angeles, I interned at Curve, a well-known multibrand boutique owned by Ne
