"Zombie Cream" wasn’t something I expected to see on my 2026 bingo card, but it’s giving me the most radiant skin I've ever had.

The name might sound odd, but trust the process. This type of cream is aimed at specific skin cells that may be causing damage without your awareness. In the beauty community, these problematic cells are referred to as "zombie" cells.

      When it comes to innovative solutions for this issue, I trust K-beauty favorite Peach & Lily. I've adored Peach & Lily products for years due to their well-formulated recipes that are safe for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Their recent launch, aptly named Advanced Rebound Bioglow Zombie Cream ($59), aims to effectively tackle these unwanted skin invaders. It may seem a bit unconventional, but let’s delve into it. Below, I’ll share everything you need to know about this cream, along with my genuine thoughts on it and who might benefit from it.

If you're curious about what this term means or how it relates to your skin, you're not alone. I consulted master aesthetician and the founder of Peach & Lily, Alicia Yoon, for clarity. "Zombie cells are what scientists refer to as senescent cells—damaged cells that remain in your skin and can be harmful," Yoon explains. "They can emit inflammatory signals and are associated with wrinkles, sagging, and dullness, and can even convert healthy cells into zombie cells."

      What makes Peach & Lily's Rebound Bioglow Cream unique is that it is created as an ecosystem, rather than being reliant on one key ingredient. It takes into account how the skin environment operates to address zombie cell damage from multiple perspectives.       My Review

      I want to start this review by stating that I was already a big fan of Peach & Lily prior to trying this cream. I have immense trust in Yoon and her products for being clean and thoughtfully formulated for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Every product in Peach & Lily's line is designed to be effective, non-comedogenic, and glow-inducing—just my type!

      I'll also admit that I haven't been entirely convinced by the whole zombie cell discussion in beauty. After all, isn't a good retinoid enough to address old, damaged cells? I'm no scientist, though, so what do I know! I've been dealing with some skin damage myself following a tough five-year experience with tretinoin, so I thought trying this would be worth it.

      Upon trying this cream, my first impression was that it is definitely thicker than your average moisturizer, but it does provide a lovely glow. This is something to consider if your skin is highly acne-prone. While Peach & Lily products have never caused breakouts for me, I did find this cream to be on the heavier side, which might be better suited for colder months. However, within just a few days of use, I observed a significant improvement in my overall skin radiance that hadn't been there before. I should also mention that at 33, I don’t have any significant deep sagging or wrinkles, so I can't comment extensively on its effectiveness in that area.

      While I did enjoy the glow after a month of use, I can't definitively say that my skin issues were due to zombie cells. I didn’t notice a dramatic change in my skin overall or in barrier health, which is my main concern, after using it for a little over a month. Still, I believe this cream would be fantastic for those with mature skin or individuals showing early signs of aging. It's rich, and those skin types are likely to see more noticeable improvements in deeper wrinkles. Overall, this is a great cream and reasonably priced for an innovative targeted treatment moisturizer. Many skincare products take longer than a month to display visible results, so that’s another point to consider. I really like this cream and plan to keep using it, but it may require some patience if you’re looking to purchase it for specific visible skin concerns
