      It's summer, so naturally, people are opting for linen. This breathable fabric is a smart choice for hot weather; however, linen dresses often tend to be rather dull. They usually come in basic styles like shifts and fit-and-flare designs that lack flair. I’ve worn plenty of them myself, but as the season progresses, I find myself yearning for dresses that are a bit more distinctive and visually appealing. That’s where nightgown-inspired dresses come into play. Many of these dresses include lace accents and flowing silhouettes, offering the same comfort as linen when temperatures rise, but they are much more exciting to look at, making them an ideal substitute when your linen collection feels uninspired.
