      "I believe we are witnessing a broader evolution in luxury," says Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, creative director of the brand. "Jewelry is becoming more expressive." For instance, colorful gemstones and convertible lariat necklaces were prominent at the 2026 Couture Jewelry Show, showcasing a desire for pieces that represent individuality. And what better way to express your personal style than through unique nail art? "Consumers no longer see these areas as distinctly separate," Mellerio continues. "They view them as complementary forms of self-expression." The jewelry industry has been delving into new frontiers with a slew of innovative, practical pieces that emphasize craftsmanship. Ponytail cuffs, brooches, belts, and bag charms—intriguing creations that echo heirloom qualities are emerging everywhere. "Jewelry has moved beyond traditional placements," Kim agrees. "Nails are a natural extension of that." Even if someone has an extensive collection of fine jewelry, Mellerio speculates they may look for unexpected methods to display it.       The nail sector has also experienced notable advancements, particularly concerning press-ons. Previous faux nails often appeared bulky, had limited designs, and were, frankly, quite unreliable. Today, this category has blossomed with stylish, reusable options that compete with salon-quality manicures—both in design and durability. Mellerio's nail ornaments, for instance, utilize adhesive tabs typically used for standard press-ons. Yes, ordinary stickers are now high-quality enough to support these luxurious sets. "This enables them to attach securely while being easy to remove without harming the natural nail," Mellerio clarifies. "They can be comfortably worn for an evening, a special occasion, or even for several days." Naturally, given the presence of precious stones, careful removal is advisable. A mixture of warm water and dish soap usually does the job, although Evans's reusable charms can also endure acetone.

      Now, you can embrace the trend without spending a fortune on diamonds. "I plan to continue educating how to use [and] wear these pieces while helping everyone feel comfortable with the idea," states Evans, who is currently exploring new designs and materials.
