Harmony of tastes: lenten menu at the restaurant “Podmoscow evenings”
Moscow Nights has launched a varied lenten menu that will delight even the most sophisticated gourmets. Chef Simone Di Maio combines sophistication and naturalness in the dishes.
For an appetizer – cauliflower and truffle carpaccio or zucchini and tomatoes, for salad lovers – mixed salad with citroneta dressing. A light beetroot tartare with apples and pine nuts will be a real discovery for those who appreciate original combinations.
The collection of soups includes minestrone with herbs and flowers, lean borscht, pumpkin and mushroom.
For a hot meal Simone Di Maio prepared real Italian masterpieces for the guests – linguini with stew of nuts and risotto with jerusalem artichoke cream, pickled vegetables and aromatic oil.
The menu also includes readings of Russian cuisine – cauliflower steak with spinach and vegetable sauce and fried potatoes with porcini mushrooms.
Each dish is a whole gastronomic story, which chef Simone Di Maio “tells” through selected products, beautiful presentation and author's reading.
