      A recent survey found that over 70% of Gen Z and millennial workers are considering changing jobs or careers. This signals that they are dissatisfied with their current job or workplace, whether due to lack of passion, burnout, or other reasons. However, we all know that expressing a desire for change is far easier than figuring out how to make it happen. Especially when overwhelmed with work and deadlines, the last thing one wants is to think about their job. Yet, there comes a time when stepping back, reflecting, and realigning with what truly fulfills you becomes necessary.

Then, rate each task on a scale from one to five: one indicates dread when assigned, and five indicates genuine enthusiasm and enjoyment. This exercise will help you visualize where your energy is directed and whether it aligns with activities you find enjoyable.

      2. Identify skills you wish to utilize

      Now that you know how your time and energy are distributed, reflect on the tasks you rated as fours and fives. Are there recurring patterns among the tasks you enjoy most?
