I Won't Spend More Than 5 Minutes on My Summer Makeup—Here's What I Apply

      To be honest, I'm typically in a hurry. Whether I've pressed snooze a few too many times or suddenly recalled that I have lunch plans in 15 minutes, I often lack the time (or energy) for a full glam look. And during summer? Forget it. When it’s 90ºF outside, applying a full face of makeup that melts away before noon is the last thing I want. That’s precisely why I’ve honed a quick, foolproof beauty regimen that allows me to appear fresh, polished, and like I have everything under control, even when I’m racing out the door. My goal with this five-minute routine is straightforward: accentuate my natural features and head out looking more awake, bronzed, and put-together without overloading on products. I prefer lightweight, breathable formulas that feel weightless on my skin while still providing the perfect amount of coverage and radiance. In the summer, I keep it particularly minimal: a sheer tinted sunscreen, cream bronzer and blush for a sun-kissed glow, along with a swift application of waterproof mascara and pink gloss to complete the look. If I have a few extra seconds, I’ll even dab on some faux freckles across my nose and cheeks to enhance the illusion that I’ve spent more time in the sun than I actually have.
