"Roads of Victory" will launch a nationwide Memory Action on the eve of the 81st anniversary of Victory.
In anticipation of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the all-Russian program "Roads of Victory" announces the start of a large-scale Memorial Action. On May 7, 2026, in 30 regions of the country, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, a Unified Day of Field Events will take place, with schoolchildren and students participating. The Pskov region is participating in the Action: schoolchildren and students from the region will join the Unified Day of Field Events.
The Action will unite hero cities, cities of military glory, and labor valor. The organizers aim to engage the younger generation in preserving the historical memory of the heroism of the Soviet people, using the format of "live lessons" at battle sites and memorials.
On the day of the action, participants will not only visit iconic locations but also lay flowers at military graves and join in a moment of silence. The routes are designed with the age of the children in mind, so that the excursions are not formal but provide a deep immersion into the events of 1941-1945 – both on the battlefields and in the rear.
"The Action for Victory Day is organized in memory and gratitude to the generation of victors," noted the director of the ANO "ARVT," Anastasia Kiseleva. "The all-Russian program 'Roads of Victory' is not about the past; it is about the future. We are raising patriots by telling and showing them the great history of a great country. In unity, there is strength."
Educational programs with a patriotic focus for children and youth within the framework of the all-Russian military-patriotic program "Roads of Victory" are implemented by the ANO "Agency for the Development of Domestic Tourism" with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as part of the federal project "We are Together (Education of a Harmoniously Developed Personality)" of the national project "Youth and Children."
