Originally launched in 2013 and discontinued in 2021, the line was known for its sleek, shiny packaging and effective formulas that many beauty editors fondly remember. It was hailed as one of the top makeup brands available. Now, with a revival set for 2026, Marc Jacobs Beauty surprisingly embodies a maximalist’s dream. With playful packaging, vivid colors, and delightful textures, I don’t think I’ve ever felt this much excitement over a makeup collection before. "This isn’t merely a relaunch; it’s a new beauty collection that respects the brand’s legacy," Marc Jacobs shared. "We aimed to reimagine it with a fresh outlook and, years after the pandemic, saw it as a chance to create something completely new."

      1. **Legally Bronze Bronzer**

       - **Pros**: Natural skin-like finish, adorable packaging

       Currently, there are no foundation or concealer products in the Marc Jacobs Beauty collection, so after applying my usual base, I started with the Legally Bronze Bronzer. I couldn't help but let out a high-pitched squeal upon opening it, as it’s perhaps the cutest bronzer I’ve encountered. However, the charming packaging shouldn’t overshadow the effective formula. Aiming to provide a second-skin finish, it’s one of the most natural bronzers I’ve tried. It blends seamlessly, adding a gentle warmth and sun-kissed glow to the skin. This is an excellent introduction, and I rate this bronzer very highly.

      2. **Joystick Blush Stick**

       - **Pros**: Highly pigmented, creamy texture, various fun shades

       - **Cons**: Packaging may become a bit messy

       My love for blush sticks means I have strict criteria for testing them, and I’m thrilled to confirm that the Joystick Blush Stick met my expectations. With ten vibrant shades available, they cater to those who like bold colors, but you can also apply a sheer layer for a more everyday look. I chose the shade Hot Flush, a bright pink that I plan to wear all summer. The intensely pigmented formula impressed me right away, and the creamy consistency allowed me to easily dab the product onto my cheeks and blend with my fingertips. The mixture of hydrating ingredients also gave a wonderful, plumping effect. And the packaging? Pure joy, as the name implies.

The silky formula glides smoothly onto the lid and offers vibrant color payoff with a single swipe. There are many striking metallic shades, but for a more everyday look, I opted for the matte brown shade On Brand. Ever since trying this buttery shadow, I find it hard to reach for anything else. It blends effortlessly and has excellent staying power (with an eyeshadow primer underneath), plus the star-shaped packaging adds a fun twist compared to my usual eyeshadow palette.

      4. **Drawn This Way Longwear Eyeliner**

       - **Pros**: Available in various shades, creamy formula, highly pigmented, long-lasting

       - **Cons**: I found achieving a sharp wing a bit challenging

       I typically prefer liquid eyeliner, but this creamy, pigmented pencil has won me over. Like the eyeshadow, it comes in several exciting shades, from shimmery pink to cobalt blue, but I opted for a deep brown that matched my eyeshadow nicely. The moment I applied it, I was amazed by how buttery it felt as I glided it along my lash line, and the pigmented formula allowed for quick application. Although I’d expect a creamy formula to fade throughout the day, this waterproof and sweatproof eyeliner held up very well. It’s also gentle on sensitive eyes, which is a thoughtful detail from Marc.
