From March 1 to 13, the legendary chef of Moscow’s SAVVA restaurant, Andrey Shmakov — one of the most recognizable exponents of Russo‑Nordic cuisine — will hold an exclusive gastronomic residency at Finolhu, a Seaside Collection Resort.
Featured in the MICHELIN Moscow guide 2022 and included in the international GreatList ranking and La Liste 2026 as one of the world’s 1,000 best restaurants, Shmakov brings to the Maldives his signature culinary aesthetic: precise, delicate, multilayered. The holder of the titles “Best Executive Chef of Moscow” from Gault&Millau and “Chef of the Year” (ZAVTRAk Chef 2021, WHERETOEAT Moscow 2023), he will present guests with a signature menu in which classic motifs of Russian cuisine intertwine with northern minimalism and a gentle Maldivian accent. It’s a rare opportunity to experience his style where the tropics dictate a special mood of flavor.
