The Mediterranean at its peak: how Ivanka turned summer into a series of gastronomic journeys

      Is it possible to find yourself on the coast of Spain, stroll through evening Paris, feel the atmosphere of a Greek feast, or a bustling Italian piazza, without leaving Moscow? This summer, the Ivanka restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the Neva Towers gallery, offers just such a scenario.

      The "Mediterranean Summer" project has become one of the brightest seasonal concepts in the capital. Here, gastronomy goes far beyond dinner, transforming into a full-fledged experience where music, culture, signature dishes, and atmosphere work as a whole.

      Every Saturday is dedicated to a new Mediterranean country. The restaurant's space changes beyond recognition: along with artists, musical accompaniment, and gastronomic accents, the very mood of the evening shifts.

      The Spanish La Fiesta fills the hall with aromas of saffron, citrus, and fresh sangria. The central event becomes the gastronomic show by brand chef Viktor Lobzin, who prepares a giant paella right in front of the guests. Live guitar, castanets, flamenco, and the famous Aqua de Valencia cocktail turn the evening into a true journey to southern Europe.

      The French Mon Chéri has a completely different character. One evening, the panoramic terrace resembles Montmartre: guests are greeted by mimes, the accordion plays, an artist creates caricatures, illusionists appear between tables, and the cancan adds a light theatricality to the famous French cabaret. Here, France reveals itself not through clichés, but through the mood of Parisian streets.

      The most emotional program of the season has been the Italian Mamma Mia!. Real lemons, letters from Nonna Carmella, a wheel of fortune with gastronomic gifts, limoncello, and the aroma of freshly made pasta create a sense of a large family celebration. Pasta is prepared right in a wheel of parmesan, dessert is served from a cart, and the finale is a collective performance of Bella Ciao, when the entire hall transforms into one big Italian orchestra.

      A completely different mood is brought by the Greek Kefi Night — an evening inspired by the famous word κέφι, meaning genuine joy of life. To the sounds of the bouzouki, guests dance the syrtaki, ancient statues unexpectedly come to life, dozens of white napkins soar into the air, and the traditional breaking of plates becomes a symbol of happiness and celebration. Here, it's easy to forget that behind the panoramic windows are the skyscrapers of Moscow City, not the shores of the Aegean Sea.

      Musical Fridays hold a special place in the concept. They combine concerts by well-known artists, chamber projects, and author parties in the open air. The summer season opened with Dmitry Malikov, followed by the atmospheric concert Lumirest × Ivanka "Russian Soul" with two thousand candles and performances by Lyubov Uspenskaya and TASSO.

      In just a few months, Ivanka has managed to create a rare format for Moscow, where the restaurant becomes a cultural space. People come not only for gastronomy but also for emotions, music, beautiful views, and the feeling of a vacation that unexpectedly arises in the middle of the city's business center.

      The summer program continues: ahead are new thematic journeys through Mediterranean countries, gastronomic shows, concerts, and special events that unite cuisine, art, and music into a single story.
